SHARON BAKER
Sharon Baker is more than an ordinary singer or mere artist, she is a phenomenal performer with a multitude of positive influences within her background. She began singing at a very young age by singing along with her Elvis Presley collection. She was a devout member of the local Baptist Church throughout the seventh grade. Sharon wrote her first song at eight years of age and went on to take several music classes and learned to play several instruments. She began to sing Gospel after the loss of her loving mother.
She has a music collection that spans across several genres. She was inspired by her step dad, John Baker, from The Glenn Miller Band, as well as his cousin, Eddie Albert. Last ,but not least, family member and producer, Roy Thomas Baker. With a list of musical associations which include her buddies from Rascal Flatts and smooth jazz guitarist Thomas Jones, it seems that Sharon is destined to strike a successful chord in today's music industry.
Sharon states "there is no contest in music, it's just being the best that you can be; regardless of who you're performing with or what type of music it is".
Her new CD "Soulfulness" is a testament to her musical capabilities and a work of art to be enjoyed over and over again.
